Malaysia Book A Spot In The Final

Even though, Laos team failed to qualify for semi-final AFF Suzuki Cup this year, it doesn't mean we do not want to know who will win the cup this year. Malaysia who lost the first match to Indonesia now go through to the final. Here's how!

Yesterday, 18th Saturday night Malaysia qualified for the final of the Suzuki Cup tournament after holding Vietnam to a 0-0 draw in the second leg semi-final at the My Dinh Stadium in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The stalemate allowed the Malaysians to qualify for the final on 2-0 aggregate.

Striker Safee Sali had scored both the goals in Malaysia’s 2-0 first leg semi-final victory at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil last Wednesday.

Malaysia will now meet either Indonesia or the Philippines, who will play in the second semi-final on Sunday night, in the two-legged final.
